Amy Raskin
Amy Raskin is chief investment officer of Chevy Chase Trust in Bethesda, Maryland, where she has led investment strategy, research, and portfolio management since 2014. She built the firm's thematic-investing approach. She served as vice chair of the T1D Fund board, the Breakthrough T1D venture philanthropy fund that has catalyzed more than 900 million dollars in investment toward type 1 diabetes cures. Before Chevy Chase Trust she spent about 13 years at AllianceBernstein in New York. There she was director of thematic research, head of U.S. and global growth equity research, and chief investment officer of its venture capital fund. She began her career at Lehman Brothers and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. Her son lives with type 1 diabetes, which drives her engagement with cure funding.
