Code Bio

Code Bio is developing genetic medicines built on 3DNA, a non-viral, synthetic-DNA delivery platform designed to be targeted and re-dosable. Its type 1 diabetes program is an RNAi therapeutic delivered with that platform. The work is backed by the T1D Fund of Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF) and remains in preclinical development. Code Bio is not T1D-exclusive: its pipeline also includes a non-viral gene therapy for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and it has a rare-disease delivery partnership with Takeda.
