Elizabeth Mily

Elizabeth Mily became the first chief executive officer of the T1D Fund in January 2025. The Boston-based impact investment fund accelerates solutions to treat, prevent, and cure type 1 diabetes. She brings more than 30 years of pharmaceutical, healthcare investment banking, and strategic leadership experience. Most recently she was executive vice president of strategy and business development at Bristol Myers Squibb, overseeing business development, mergers and acquisitions, and the company's equity investing portfolio. Earlier she held senior roles at Barclays, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Goldman Sachs. As CEO she deploys the fund's capital, serves as its public ambassador, and works to expand equity investments and partnerships with venture capital, large biopharma, and foundations. She has said she knows first-hand the serious impacts the disease has on individuals and their loved ones.
