Justin Eastzer

Justin Eastzer is the founder and host of Diabetech, a Los Angeles based platform covering diabetes technology, research, and news through a YouTube channel and podcast. A former tech YouTuber and Hollywood digital storyteller, he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2021. Community members watching his TikTok videos about a misdiagnosed case urged him to get tested, which revealed latent autoimmune diabetes in adults, a form of type 1. He now reviews continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, and automated insulin delivery systems, and interviews clinicians and industry figures. Education about the tools that already exist is the starting point of his mission. His stated aim is to show people what technology exists, how to optimize it, and how to advocate for the best available care alongside their medical team.
