Kriya Therapeutics

Kriya Therapeutics develops AAV-based gene therapies for prevalent chronic diseases. Its type 1 diabetes program, KRIYA-839 (formerly KT-A112), delivers genes for insulin and glucokinase to drive durable glycemic control and reduce or eliminate the need for injected insulin. The program is preclinical, with first-in-human testing slated to begin in 2026. Kriya is not T1D-exclusive: its pipeline spans type 2 diabetes, obesity, and other indications. The company operates sites in the San Francisco Bay Area and Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
