The Juicebox Podcast

The Juicebox Podcast launched in 2015 and is hosted by Scott Benner, author and father of a daughter with type 1 diabetes diagnosed at a young age. It has since run past 1,850 episodes and 21 million downloads, and has charted at number one in 58 countries. The show is organized into series a newly diagnosed family can work through in order: Defining Diabetes explains the vocabulary one term at a time, Bold Beginnings covers the first weeks after diagnosis, the Diabetes Pro Tip series walks through management technique, and Ask Scott and Jenny answers listener questions with his co-host Jenny. Benner also wrote the parenting memoir Life Is Short, Laundry Is Eternal, published in 2013. The show speaks to anyone who uses insulin, and its center of gravity is families living with type 1.
