Tim Clark

Tim Clark is a founding member of the T1D Fund Board of Directors and of its Investment Committee, which he chaired for three years. In 2023 he was elected chair of the fund, the venture philanthropy vehicle focused on curing type 1 diabetes, succeeding its first chair, Sean Doherty. He and his wife Tara are donors to the fund, and they became active in the type 1 diabetes cause through JDRF. Clark is a former member of the JDRF International Board of Directors and served on its Executive Committee for five years. He is a former leader and chief investment officer of CarVal Investors, a global alternative investment manager and former Cargill subsidiary. He is also president and chief executive of Treehouse, a faith-based youth mentoring organization.
