Dr. Jeremy Pettus
Dr. Jeremy Pettus is a board-certified endocrinologist and associate professor of medicine at the University of California, San Diego, where he runs clinical trials in type 1 diabetes. He was diagnosed himself at 15 and treats the condition he lives with. His trials cover therapies to slow the disease after onset, continuous glucose monitoring and artificial pancreas devices, immunotherapies, and drugs given alongside insulin. At Taking Control of Your Diabetes he directs the Type 1 Track and the accredited education program for clinicians. He co-hosts TCOYD The Podcast and the video series A Dose of Drs. E and P with Dr. Steve Edelman. He also co-wrote the clinician handbook Practical Management of Type 1 Diabetes.
